Not only is today a global day of giving, but it’s also the first day that teachers and school district staff in Butte County return to work. The Butte County fire, otherwise known as the Camp Fire, devastated the area and burned the community’s schools to the ground. The school district will be working from now until December 3 to find a way to bring back education to thousands of kids who lost so much during more than two weeks of destructive wildfires in their area.
On this Giving Tuesday, our thoughts turn to our neighbors in Northern California who have been impacted by the tragic wildfire. Today, we’re giving back by helping #campfire kids get back to school.
We’re supporting the North Valley Community Foundation as they work to restore a sense of normalcy for the children affected by the devastating fires. If you’re looking for a cause this #GivingTuesday, join us. Make a donation here.
